You cannot fail to be impressed with this beautiful old inn from the outside. The inside is just as impressive. Total history. The menu choice was fantastic and each course and each dish were very impressive and tasty. Accomodated our infant and dog very nicely. Service was excellent. Would recommend with confidence. Will be going back next time.

We booked here for food on Boxing Day. Cosy with a roaring fire and lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. I had the pie of the day (chicken and veg) and my wife had the vegen shepherd's pie, both were fantastic. Next time we're staying in the area we'll be back!

Just has a lovely meal here at this multi award winning 5 star pub and hotel. I had the bacon cheese burger and my wife had the Sunday roast. Attentive staff and very friendly. Beautiful pub taking advantage if its age with a modern twist on the decoration. Great portion sizes and locally sourced **Best battered onion rings I've ever had** crispy and not greasy or having the taste some have due to the oil. Homemade coleslaw was delicious. The roast was lovely pink beef, great Yorkshires and a lovely meaty gravy. Desserts we're also lovely. I had the rhubarb blonde. Lovely and tart. My wife had the bakewell tart. Se said its one of the best she's had.

Just off Abergele Road in a cute village St George. This is a grade 11 listing traditional pub with a cosy fire as soon as you walk in. Winter opening times Friday to Sunday. Would like to try the Sunday lunch here. Like the atmosphere, very relaxing and cute, quiet corners around the side. Lots of seating and outdoor seating . Very nice decor in here, love the ornaments dotted around and local prints on the wall. All add to the ambiance as they say and make it inviting. Great service from the staff . Crispy chilli beef and noodles was ‘amazing’ even had to take some home as it was such a big portion (from the ‘light’ bites menu) 10/10 handbag review for our FAB lunch today. Thank you.
